Board

The Virginia Board consists of seven members appointed by the Governor. The Board includes four members who hold Virginia licenses and have been actively engaged in providing services to the public for at least three years; one member who holds a Virginia license actively engaged in providing services to the public or to or on behalf of an employer in government or industry for at least three years; one educator in the field of accounting who holds a Virginia license; and one public non-CPA member.

Each member is appointed to serve a four-year term and may not serve more than two consecutive terms.
