The phishing scam presents a sense of urgency by demanding that the recipient take immediate action to prevent a disruption to their license status by clicking a hyperlink. Please be aware that this is a phishing scam and is not from the Board of Accountancy. DO NOT CLICK on the link. Your license information is handled through our secure portal. Follow the steps below to retrieve a user name and/or reset password.

For exam candidates and licensees

Click here to enter your last name, birthdate and registration code.*
Click Search. User ID will populate toward of the bottom of the page.
Create a password; confirm the password.
Click Register.
Login with user ID and password.

For firms

Click Search. User ID will populate toward of the bottom of the page.
Create a password; confirm the password.

Login with user ID and password.

*The registration code is unique to each user. If you do not have your registration code, contact VBOA at (804) 367-8505 or submit this form. The registration code will be sent to the email address found on the user record.
