Inactive reinstatement application certifications

Please answer the following questions and select submit when you have answered all of them.

Certifications

I certify that I am not currently providing services, including on a volunteer basis, as defined in § 54.1-4400, “ Providing services to an employer” or “Providing services to the public” and that my position does not require the use of accounting, financial, tax and other skills that are relevant, as determined by the VBOA.(Required)

Since I was granted Inactive status, I certify I have not changed positions or jobs or notified the VBOA I made an employment change.(Required)

I certify that I am not and will not provide relevant services to the public or to an employer that require the use of accounting, financial, tax or other skills that are relevant, as determined by the VBOA, with the Inactive status.(Required)

I understand that per VBOA regulation 18VAC5-22-90C1, in order to begin providing services, I must request a change to Active status. This change requires me to submit at least 120 hours of continuing professional education (CPE), including a VBOA-approved ethics course of at least two hours, prior to providing any services. I must demonstrate this compliance upon a VBOA request.(Required)
