A CPA firm must alert the VBOA to all revisions that require an amendment with the Commonwealth of Virginia’s State Corporation Commission (SCC). Please mail, fax or email a copy of the Certificate of Amendment from the SCC to the VBOA within 30 calendar days of any change.
Peer review enrollments
Only CPA firms can provide attest services, compilation services, or financial statement preparation services to persons or entities located in Virginia. Performance of such services may also require enrollment in Peer Review.
The VBOA wants to know the current status of Virginia firms with and without peer review. Submit the online form to the VBOA with the firm information.
Change of contact information
Login to update firm contact information, excluding the firm name, or submit a Change of Contact Information Form.
Change of ownership, legal entity or licensure requirements
The firm must notify the VBOA within 30 calendar days of any change that may affect the license of a CPA firm and provide supporting documentation, as necessary.
