Forgot user ID or password

Follow the steps below to retrieve a user name and/or reset password.

For exam candidates and licensees

  • Click here to enter your last name, birthdate and registration code.*
  • Click Search. User ID will populate toward of the bottom of the page.
  • Create a password; confirm the password.
  • Click Register.
  • Login with user ID and password.

For firms

  • Click here to enter license number and registration code.* 
  • Click Search. User ID will populate toward of the bottom of the page.
  • Create a password; confirm the password.
  • Click Register.
  • Login with user ID and password.

*The registration code is unique to each user and is not your license number. It was sent to you in an email. If you do not have your registration code, contact VBOA at (804) 367-8505 or submit this form. The registration code will be sent to the email address found on the user record.
